Stan’s way.

“We are not gallery painters who paint when the feeling moves us.”

That’s from the Inc. Magazine interview with Stan Richards, who runs the tightest independent agency in the U.S.  I worked for him for many years. As a creative director, he made you believe you were only limited by the size of your ideas. We trusted him to defend big thinking. So that’s what we came up with.

Here’s the whole story:



David Fowler created long-running advertising campaigns for Motel 6 ("We'll leave the light on for you"), BP ("Beyond Petroleum"), Fanta ("Wanta Fanta"), Claritin ("Claritin Clear") and many others. His forty-year creative career included twenty years at Ogilvy & Mather in New York, as well as stints at Goodby, Silverstein in San Francisco, Ammirati & Puris in New York and The Richards Group in Dallas.
